Hi I'm Lily, I'm 10 years and I love hockey and my bff's. My buddy's name is Aadila.

Auckland
When Aadila comes to Auckland I am most looking forward to meeting the students and doing all of the fun activities planned, like going to the beach, up the sky tower and going for dinner. 

Melbourne
When I go to Melbourne I'm most looking forward to going up the Eureka tower and meeting my host family. 

Overall
Overall I'm feeling ecstatic for the trip because I will be meeting new people and going to a place I've never been before. This will be a new and exciting experience for everyone and I'm really really looking forward to it.

On Sunday we went to Meadowbank to meet the our Melbourne buddies! It was so exciting to finally meet them for the first time! 😄😃😁. On Monday after school Lucy,Aadila and I all went up the sky tower, it was EPIC! It wasn't cloudy so the views were awesome! Everybody really enjoyed it! 😆😊😎  

Monday 30th

It was a good flight but was very bumpy coming into Melbourne. I was extremely excited to see Aadila again. We attended Aadila’s great grandmothers birthday party. We were tired once we got home. I had a good sleep but woke 
up quite early. 

Today at school, Aadila introduced me to her friends and we played a few games and completed a scavenger hunt. 

We had a Greek lesson and it was very hard to understand. I am looking forward to the Shrine of Remembrance trip tomorrow. 

Wednesday 1st 

I am getting use to the different times now and not waking up so early. Yesterday we went to the Shrine of Remberence and attended a service for the Light Horse Service. I really liked seeing the horses. 

On the way to the Queen Victoria Markets we passed the art centre and the MCG stadium. The markets were great and I loved the food!! Especially the Shepard’s pie. I spent some of my money yesterday buying gifts for my family. After doing a little bit of trick or treating, we went up in the Western Star (Ferris wheel) in town. The views were incredible and we finished with dinner at a really yummy restaurant.
