WHY I AM EXCITED TO COME TO MELBOURNE 

•  To meet my buddy (Felix) in person and his family.
• Learn how to play A.F.L
• See Melbourne for the first time
• See the shrine of remembrance 

The first day that Felix arrived we had a Nerf war and played hide and seek, for dinner we had Asian food. 

Monday 30th 

We have arrived safely in Melbourne. It was good to see Felix again and meet his family. When we arrived, I had a tour of his house, we had a nerf war and watched a movie. We had a lovely dinner of steak and an apple pie for dessert. 

Today at school, Felix introduced me to some of his friends then we completed a scavenger hunt around the school. We had a lesson in advanced mandarin, which was very hard to understand even though we learn Mandarin.

Wednesday 1st 

Yesterday went well. We went to the Shrine of Remberence and attened the Light Horse ceremony. I really liked the bands music but the horses were a little bit scared by the drums. At the Queen Victoria markets we had some yummy food and then we went shopping!! There was so much there and I purchased a few gifts for myself and my family. 

Last night we went trick or treating and then met some of the other Meadowbank children and buddies for dinner at a Italian restaurant. I am really looking forward to visiting the Eureka tower and the MCG Stadium.
