Yesterday I went the queen Victoria markets and the shrine of rememberance.  I really enjoyed the queen Victoria markets because it was really cool seeing all the different souvenirs you can buy relating to Australia.  I bought lots of gifts for my family and friends. I face timed my family last night.  I dressed up as a vampire cat and we did some trick or treating  I am looking forward to going up the eureka tower and going to the sports museum.

Over the weekend I was so excited, waiting for the plane to arrive. When I stepped I outside it was so hot and I started sweating. It was the hottest heat I had felt in ages. When I saw Charlotte and met her family I almost exploded with excitement. When we got to their house they showed me around and helped me unpack.  We had a bbq for dinner, it was a lot of food and it was delicious.

At school today I realised Serpell is very different than Meadowbank.  They eat their fruit at an allocated time and take their shoes of to go into the classroom. In the morning I got a tour by many of Charlotte's friends who showed me where to go and what to do.  So far it has been a great trip!

Museum and North Head 

Today we went  to the museum, inside we showed all the Melbourne students and teachers our culture. But outside we had soo much fun we rolled all the way down a massive hill 👍.At about 12:30 we went on a ferry to devonport, once we got there we walked all the to then up north head. We explored all of the tunnels that were used in world war 2. While we were in the tunnels we attempted to scare each other,(I almost made someone fall over, it was so funny.)

🤗Arrival day🤗

Today is the arrival of the Melbourne exchange students. My family and I are super excited to meet Charlotte ( my buddy.) I hope you have a good flight and arrive safely in Auckland.

Hi, my name is Leila I am Charlotte's buddy, I really enjoy netball, swimming, writing creative stories and robotics. I have a cat called Jasmine and a little brother called Alex Who is almost five.  

Melbourne

In Melbourne, I am really looking forward to going up the Eureka tower because I am quite interested in architecture and interior design. I am also excited for the Queen Victoria markets and the national sports museum. As well as meeting Charlotte's family.

Auckland

In Auckland, I am excited to meet Charlotte for the first time in person, and taking her on many fun trips that I hope she enjoys. I am also looking forward to going to the Auckland museum and showing the entire Melbourne group New Zealand's culture and history. Taking Charlotte out after school is also a highlight I am excited about.

Overall

 Overall I am really exuberant and can't wait for the amazing events/trips in Melbourne and NZ that I and everyone else will be taking part in!
